This archive contains files to allow users of the DOS version of "Pro Pinball - The Web" to run a native Windows 95 version. Please note that you will need the DOS version of the game, and Microsoft's DirectX (preferably version 2, version 1 will only allow you to use 640x480 modes) already installed on your computer, neither of which are contained in this archive. The best place to obtain a copy of DirectX is to find a magazine cover CD with a Windows 95 game / demo that requires DirectX, and install that. The retail version of "Pro Pinball - The Web" will contain DirectX, but has been left out of this archive to save space (nearly 3 Megabytes compressed). Extract the files "PLAY.EXE", "WGAME.EXE" and "MENU.EXE" into the same directory as the DOS version of the game. To run the game, make sure you have the game CD in your drive, then click on the "PLAY.EXE" icon from the Windows Explorer. If you want, you can create a shortcut icon to run the game by locating the DOS game folder using the Windows Explorer, click and hold the left button whilst the mouse is over the PLAY.EXE icon, and then drag it either onto your desktop, or to the "Start" button. If you already have a games folder, you could open this and drag it there instead. The keys have been changed from the DOS version, and the changes are noted below. You can redefine these keys by clicking on the "options..." button on the PLAY program, but you cannot define them to use the same keys as the DOS version as there appears to be no standard way of reading the shift keys seperately under Windows 95 that will work on all systems. The defaults were chosen to be in a similar layout on international keyboards.
